Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and learn in real-world practice. You will follow a structured training roadmap, assist in filling prescriptions promptly and safely, and work under a licensed pharmacist to deliver caring patient service.

Immunization support and other services may be available where permitted by state law. You will learn store, district, and regional operations while maintaining SOPs and contributing to a safe, inclusive store

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience
• Counsel patients when appropriate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Support immunization and other services where allowable by law and training
• Demonstrate consistent adherence to SOPs and maintain professional standards
