Job summary

CVS Health in the United States invites 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to apply. You will support pharmacy teams, gain hands-on experience, and learn SOPs while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Under the direction of your preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap and contribute to safe, patient‑centered care. As you progress, you may assist with immunizations and other clinical services where allowed by state law, while developing communication and teamwork skills across store

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring customer service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision and gather medical history to support optimal care.
• Support immunization services where lawful and trained, maintaining patient privacy and security.
• Comply with SOPs, workflow procedures, and regulatory requirements in the pharmacy.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist with day-to-day operations as directed.
