Job summary

CVS Health is seeking current pharmacy students for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern role in a CVS pharmacy. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, and support the pharmacy team in daily operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will gain hands-on experience, learn SOPs, and contribute to patient care while advancing toward a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified (state regulations dependent)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is often expected

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Contribute to patient safety and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist pharmacists and technicians in daily pharmacy operations
• Provide patient counseling and education where appropriate
