Job summary

CVS Health invites applications for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in a retail setting. You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under a preceptor, participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, and assist in the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient care.

You will gain hands‑on experience across SOPs, customer service, immunizations, and store operations while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular and predictable shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and security during interactions.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
