Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd-year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within a CVS Retail setting. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, following SOPs to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, excellent patient care, and smooth daily operations.

You’ll gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, learn about store, district, and regional operations, and develop abilities to advance into a Pharmacist role with leadership support.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and leadership interactions
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy
• Provide immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by state law
• Support inventory activities and store operations as directed by pharmacy leadership
