Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world pharmacy setting under the direction of a preceptor. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and contribute to safe, accurate, and empathetic patient care.

You will support pharmacistas and technicians, ensure timely prescription fulfillment, and participate in immunizations and additional patient services where permitted by state law.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must have or be pursuing intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrates empathy and customer service orientation toward patients and colleagues.
• Communicates effectively with patients and pharmacy team.
• Handles prescription information accurately and follows SOPs at all times.
• Assists with immunizations and point-of-care testing as allowed by state law and training.
• Maintains inventory and supports pharmacy operations under supervision.
