Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our CVS Retail team. You will apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings under a preceptor, supporting operations, patient service, and SOP adherence while preparing for future pharmacist responsibilities.

You will gain hands-on experience across store workflows, immunization support where allowed by law, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians in a dynamic, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians in daily workflow to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide patient-focused service, counsel when appropriate under supervision, and support immunizations where allowed.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training roadmap to prepare for pharmacist responsibilities.
• Maintain attendance and adaptability to store scheduling needs across markets.
• Support inventory activities and accurate record-keeping in line with regulations.
