Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for our retail pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor, assisting with dispensing, patient counseling, and daily pharmacy operations.

You will follow SOPs, support immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed, and participate in a comprehensive training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role. This is a part‑time position with flexible store locations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college enrollment or acceptance in a pharmacy program.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure in progress as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow areas.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and assist with immunizations and other services.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and communicate with prescribers as allowed by state regulations.
• Support training, coaching, and mentorship of pharmacy staff.
• Complete inventory tasks and maintain accuracy in stocking and returns.
