Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within CVS stores. You will work under a pharmacist preceptor to complete a structured training roadmap and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will support the pharmacy team in filling prescriptions promptly and safely, while delivering caring service to patients and collaborating with leaders across the district.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrolled or accepted
• Valid intern/technician licensure as required by state
• Ability to understand and follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service
• Counsel patients when appropriate and communicate effectively with team members
• Assist with immunizations and telephonic prescription handling where allowed by state law
• Support inventory activities and maintain accurate records
