Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to translate classroom learning into real‑world practice within CVS Retail locations. You will work under a preceptor, following a structured roadmap that spans store, district, and regional operations to build hands‑on pharmacy experience.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, learn SOPs, and deliver compassionate patient care. This role includes potential travel across stores to support our network.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians in managing patient health and prescriptions.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate dispensing.
• Provide empathetic service and support to patients at pickup, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and stock management as directed by leadership.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, privacy, and safety standards.
