Job summary

CVS Health invites 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to translate classroom knowledge into real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. You will follow a structured training roadmap, under a preceptor, to learn store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

You will assist with dispensing, immunizations where permitted, counseling, and pharmacy workflow. The program emphasizes SOP compliance, customer service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment
• Active intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law
• Maintain SOPs adherence and contribute to patient safety and privacy
• Handle inventory, deliveries, and cycle counts per policy
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service in person and over the phone
