Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy teams in a program designed to translate didactic education into real-world practice. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, support daily pharmacy operations, and participate in patient-centered care under licensed pharmacist supervision.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations, while learning SOPs, empathy-driven service, and collaboration with leaders to prepare for

Qualifications

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage and improve patient health.
Fulfill prescriptions safely and accurately while providing caring service to patients.
Assist pharmacy team to ensure timely prescriptions and patient safety, under supervision.
Counsel patients and obtain necessary information to provide optimal care when appropriate.
Support immunizations and other CVS services where allowed by state regulation.
