Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in the district within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients under supervision on medication usage, safety, interactions, and education.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications and interprets prescription details under regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and supports workflow optimization and policy adherence.
• Supports inventory management and customer experience through impactful service.
