Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in our retail stores. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap that covers SOPs, patient care, immunizations, and store operations.

You will support pharmacy teams to fill prescriptions safely, assist customers, counsel patients when appropriate, and travel to other stores in the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and care in patient interactions; counsel when appropriate.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business.
