Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our CVS Pharmacy team. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting safe and timely prescription processing.

You will participate in a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and hands-on experiences, learning to collaborate with Pharmacists, Technicians, and leaders to deliver compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required.
Ability to obtain immunization certification and perform related duties as allowed by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient service.
Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where legal.
Assist with basic inventory activities, including deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks.
