Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in a CVS Retail setting. You will apply classroom knowledge, under a preceptor, in a real store to prepare for a Pharmacist role, while learning district and regional operations and SOPs.

The role emphasizes empathetic patient care, teamwork, and expanding clinical and technical knowledge through on-the-job training, with immunization support where allowed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Willingness to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and accurate prescriptions.
• Follow SOPs, Best Practices, and maintain patient safety and service quality.
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and leadership exposure.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support immunization and other services where allowed.
