Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program is designed to translate didactic learning into real-world pharmacy practice within our retail stores. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a structured training roadmap, assist on the floor, fill prescriptions safely, and learn inventory and SOP adherence while delivering caring service.

You’ll gain exposure to immunizations, patient counseling, and cross-store collaboration, preparing you for a Pharmacist role while contributing to a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Fulfill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Provide empathetic patient service and counseling when appropriate.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing as allowed.
• Travel between stores in the market to support schedules.
• Maintain compliance with laws and CVS policies.
