Job summary

CVS Health in retail stores offers a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program that translates didactic learning into real‑world practice under the guidance of a preceptor to prepare you for a Pharmacist role.

You will follow SOPs, support pharmacists and technicians, help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations and patient counseling, and travel across the market to support store teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in patient interactions
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and store policies
• Support immunization services and patient counseling where allowed by state law
• Travel to stores across the market to support business needs
