Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our retail pharmacies. You will apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap to understand store, district, and regional operations.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, empathetic patient service, and exposure to immunizations and other services as allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all patient interactions.
