Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings. You will gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations while working under a licensed pharmacist's supervision.

You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, assist with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient counseling, and uphold SOPs, safety and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or accepted to an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and restocking.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with SOPs and privacy standards.
