Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team in a retail setting. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice and gain hands-on experience under a licensed pharmacist guidance.

You will follow SOPs, participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, and contribute to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service to patients in the store environment.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or attendance required.
• Active pursuit/possession of intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Verify prescription information and labeling for accuracy and patient safety.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Deliver patient care with empathy and excellent customer service.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacist services where allowed by state law.
