Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our store pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor to complete a structured training roadmap and participate in a range of KLEs, SOPs, and real patient care activities.

You will gain hands‑on experience in ensuring safe, timely prescription fulfillment, supporting immunizations and other services where allowed by law, and collaborating with pharmacy leadership across store,

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and leadership exposure.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure medicines are filled safely, accurately, and timely.
• Follow SOPs and SOP-based workflows across production, pick‑up, drive‑thru and drop‑off.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and escalate questions to the pharmacist on duty.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law and training.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
