Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our Retail pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, supporting operations to fill prescriptions promptly and safely while delivering caring service to patients.

You will gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, experience with immunizations where allowed by law, and collaboration with leaders across the district and store operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to become immunization certified when state regulations are met.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel and assist patients, offer immunizations and other services where allowed.
• Coordinate with pharmacy team to ensure patient safety and service quality.
• Assist with inventory and daily pharmacy operations as directed.
