Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice in a CVS Pharmacy. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, participate in store operations, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely patient care.

You will gain experience across SOPs, patient communication, and potential immunization support, while building readiness for a Pharmacist role in a dynamic, customer‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring patient service.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions with prescribers when allowed.
• Maintain SOP adherence and contribute to a safe, inclusive pharmacy environment.
• Support inventory activities and store operations as directed.
