Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice in our retail pharmacies. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, and deliver caring service.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations and credentialing as allowed, counseling patients, handling prescriptions, and rotating through store operations across the market to

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete the required training roadmap and build pharmacy operations experience.
• Support pharmacists and technicians in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed.
• Maintain SOPs, privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed.
