Job summary

CVS Health in Mississippi is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team, applying didactic learning to real-world practice and preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and participate in store and district operations while promoting patient safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn to operate under SOPs, apply training roadmap, and engage in ongoing coaching and mentoring.
• Provide empathetic, caring service and engage in customer interactions to support patient experience.
• Participate in immunizations and other services where allowed by law, under supervision.
