Job summary

CVS Health invites 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to apply, gaining hands-on experience in store operations while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under a licensed pharmacist, you’ll complete a training roadmap to learn the day-to-day responsibilities and grow your expertise in immunizations, medication safety, and SOPs across the store network.

As part of the internship, you will contribute to safe and accurate dispensing, assist the pharmacy team, and develop professional skills through mentorship

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient care
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient interactions
• Counsel patients under supervision and collect medical history when appropriate
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by state regulations
