Job summary

CVS Health offers third-year pharmacy interns a hands-on learning path, translating didactic education into real-world practice while under the guidance of a preceptor. You will gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations and contribute to patient care with empathy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy; actively pursuing coursework and experiential requirements.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Participate in immunization services and vaccination initiatives where allowed by state law.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture while delivering caring service.
• Counsel patients, obtain needed information, and support clinical services under pharmacist supervision.
• Support inventory activities and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to cover shifts and support operations.
