Job summary

CVS Health in the United States offers a structured 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap to see what it’s like to be part of a store’s pharmacy operations, while supporting patient care and safety.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across SOPs, patient counseling, immunizations, and team mentoring, preparing you for a future Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college enrollment as pharmacy intern.
• Active or in-process intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and provide empathetic service.
• Field medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and other services when allowed.
• Maintain inventory activities and support pharmacy leadership.
