Job summary

CVS Health offers a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail stores. Under a preceptor, you apply didactic learning to real-world practice, following a comprehensive training roadmap and SOPs to ensure safe and compassionate patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, support immunizations where allowed, and build clinical knowledge while preparing for a Pharmacist role. This is a part-time internship with potential market travel.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends, supports patient care.
• Assist pharmacists to ensure accurate prescriptions and safe dispensing.
• Provide empathetic customer service and counseling under supervision.
• Learn SOPs and demonstrate compliant pharmacy operations.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by state law.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
