Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in a patient-focused retail setting. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, following SOPs, supporting daily operations, and gaining hands-on experience to prepare for a pharmacist role.

The program emphasizes empathy, safety, and high‑quality service within our pharmacy team. The role supports immunizations, medication counseling where allowed, and a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, respond to patient needs empathetically.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate quantity, days supply, and packaging requirements.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging interactions by selecting best course of action.
• Physical Demands: handle lifting, reaching, standing for long periods, and manual tasks.
