Job summary

CVS Health Corporation offers a structured 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our retail stores. You will learn by doing, under a preceptor, while supporting the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions safely and efficiently.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, patient counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians in a dynamic, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy required or actively enrolled.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacist services where permitted by state law.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy at all times.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and prescriber communications when needed.
• Provide customer-focused service and empathetic interactions with patients.
