Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply school knowledge in real-world practice within our store pharmacies. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, follow SOPs, and support operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and caring patient service.

The program emphasizes learning through a structured roadmap, immunization support where allowed, and collaboration with district and regional leaders to prepare for advancing to pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate prescription labeling and patient safety.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure timely prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic patient service and effective communication.
• Follow SOPs and assist in training and mentoring pharmacy staff.
• Support immunizations and offsite clinics where permitted by law.
