Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Gilbert, AZ. This part-time role supports pharmacy teams, applying didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist with dispensing, patient service, and SOP adherence, with opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge and to participate in immunizations where allowed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support pharmacists and technicians to ensure patient safety and care.
• Assist with immunizations and vaccine-related tasks where allowed.
• Provide empathetic customer service and address patient questions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with daily store operations.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and CVS policies.
