Job summary

CVS Health in Arizona is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will support the team, learn SOPs, and participate in immunization and patient-care activities while contributing to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

This internship requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited program with active intern/licensure, plus preferred 1+ year of related experience and adaptability to a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and timely service.
• Support pharmacists and technicians with daily workflow at the store level.
• Learn SOPs, participate in training roadmaps, and engage with patients to provide caring service.
• Contribute to immunization services where permissible and under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with inventory tasks, prescription processing, and safe handling of medications.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team to maintain a high level of patient care.
