Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a 3rd-year Pharmacy Intern for a part-time role to apply classroom knowledge in real-world pharmacy settings. You will work under a preceptor to support the pharmacy team, ensuring safe, efficient prescription processing and patient care.

The internship focuses on SOP adherence, immunization support where allowed, and expanding clinical and technical knowledge while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred: 1+ year of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and engage with patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive culture and follow SOPs under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and hands-on store experience.
• Support immunizations and other patient-care services as allowed by state law.
