Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and apply didactic learning to real-world practice. You will follow SOPs to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and deliver caring service to patients.

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will gain hands-on experience, pursue immunization training, contribute to inventory tasks, and participate in store and district operations as needed.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment
• Intern and/or technician licensure in progress
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work nights/weekends in a retail setting

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance including nights and weekends
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows for safe, accurate prescriptions
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by state law
• Contribute to inventory management and cycle counts as directed
• Support a high-performing team and travel to stores as needed
• Comply with federal/state laws and CVS policies to protect patient privacy
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service
