Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for a part-time role within our retail pharmacy team. You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, learning SOPs, patient counseling, and safe prescription fulfillment.

You will gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, support immunizations where allowed, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to deliver caring service that improves patient

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when needed.
