Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our store pharmacy team in California. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap that covers core operations, SOPs, and patient care.

You will assist with dispensing, customer service, and basic immunization support as allowed by state regulations. As part of the CVS Health team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across store operations while delivering safe, reliable

Qualifications

ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment.
Valid internship and/or technician licensure in progress as required.
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
Demonstrate empathy and care in all patient interactions and provide excellent service.
Follow SOPs and SOP-related procedures to support pharmacy operations.
Counsel patients when appropriate and escalate questions to a licensed pharmacist.
Support immunizations and other pharmacy services when allowed by state regulations.
