Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join store teams. You will apply classroom learning in real-world practice under a preceptor and follow a structured training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will assist with daily pharmacy operations, patient counseling, immunizations support, and adherence to SOPs, while developing clinical skills and contributing to safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist with immunizations and other services, counseling patients, and providing compassionate care
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify when needed under supervision
• Support inventory and cycle counts and other pharmacy operations as directed
