Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team in a store environment. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, gaining hands-on experience with prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, and immunization services.

This program focuses on how to operate within store, district, and regional operations while developing skills for a Pharmacist role. You will learn through a structured roadmap, SOP adherence, and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Deliver immunizations and point‑of‑care services as allowed by state regulations and training.
• Maintain SOPs and participate in continuous improvement within store operations.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern and/or technician licensure in process/required
