Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in a real-world setting, applying didactic learning to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient care. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will follow SOPs, participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: perform dosage calculations and dispensing accuracy
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 lbs
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
