Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS stores. Under a pharmacist preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap covering SOPs, patient interactions, and store operations, preparing you for increased responsibilities.

As a part-time role, you will gain hands-on experience with immunizations, counseling, and pharmacy workflows, while contributing to safe and compassionate patient service in a collaborative CVS

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy required.
• Active enrollment or acceptance into such program; licensure as intern/technician as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and care in patient interactions.
• Counsel patients and obtain relevant medical history when appropriate.
• Deliver immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Support inventory activities and assist in various pharmacy operations.
