Job summary

CVS Health in Indianapolis is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world store practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will gain hands-on experience in dispensing, patient service, and SOP compliance while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, participate in immunizations and other services where allowed, and develop communication, teamwork, and clinical knowledge inside a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients, including immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in inventory activities as directed by leadership.
