Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in Bloomington, IN offers hands-on learning within a supporting pharmacy team. You will apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations while ensuring safe and efficient prescription dispensing.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance is required.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Support accurate prescription fulfillment and patient safety across pharmacy workflow.
• Provide empathetic customer service and engage patients via in-person, phone, and drive‑thru channels.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law and training.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
