Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Merrillville, IN is seeking a part-time third-year Pharmacy Intern to apply school knowledge to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will follow SOPs, support pharmacy operations, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional processes while delivering compassionate service to patients.

You will participate in immunizations, vaccinations, and related services where allowed, while you complete a comprehensive training roadmap and build hands-on

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly, prescriptions filled safely and accurately
• Learn and apply SOPs and complete a comprehensive training roadmap under supervision
• Provide empathetic customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone; assist with immunizations and other services where allowed
• Perform basic inventory activities, assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks
