Job summary

CVS Health in Riverview, FL is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern opportunity to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice under a licensed pharmacist supervisor.

You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, customer service, and potentially immunizations, while developing skills for advancement to Pharmacist roles in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE‑accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients and colleagues.
