Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams in Lakeland, Florida. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, learn SOPs, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while contributing to safe, accurate prescription processing.

You will develop hands-on experience in immunizations, patient counseling, and interprofessional collaboration, preparing for future pharmacist

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient health.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions with prescribers where allowed by state regulation.
• Support immunizations and other patient health services as trained and certified.
