Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment while gaining hands-on experience across store operations.

You will learn to follow SOPs, assist with immunizations when allowed, and collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and patients to provide compassionate care. This role is based in a CVS Retail setting in Florida.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Ability to become immunization certified as needed for the role.
• Proficiency in completing pharmacy workflow procedures and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Support immunization services and patient counseling as directed by a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and best practices to maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Provide compassionate customer service and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
