Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our retail team in Florida. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, supporting operations to ensure timely, safe, and accurate dispensing of medications.

You will learn SOPs, engage with patients with empathy, and gain experience across store, district, and regional operations. You will participate in a structured training roadmap, with opportunities to assist immunizations and point-of-care

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
Willingness to travel to different CVS locations within the market as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
Adhere to SOPs and provide empathetic customer service.
Counsel patients and collect relevant medical information when appropriate under supervision.
Support immunizations and other patient care services where allowed by state law.
Perform basic inventory tasks and assist in training new team members.
